Fantastic ramen and service! You order your meal on a machine and they bring it out very quickly. Best ramen in Kyoto!

Great ramen at affordable prices. Very rich broth n flavorful meat slices

Delicious food!

Great noodle soups, no-fuss food, and perfect location for re-acquiring those Fushimi Inari-Taisha calories (the beer helps)

Wonderfully thick pork-and-fish broth ramen near Fushimi Inari Shrine. The place doesn’t smell like most pork broth ramen joints either. Get their ¥1000 special for a generous serving of sliced aged ham, and their ¥180 two-piece kara’age (fried chicken) for a filling, satisfying ramen fix.

Very good Ramen! Reasonable price and very good service

From my opinions this is The best one in fushimiku, and this restaurant's ã‹ã‚‰æšã’(kara-age) are cheap and delicious.

Very popular ramen shop for tourists. To be honest, nothing special about this ramen. Very thick pork base soup and thin noodle. You might feel oily. It’s not bad but it’s not great also. Staff speaks English. Around ¥1000 for ramen. They also have some side dishes such as karaage ( deep fried chicken).

Very close to fushimi Inari.... Definitely worth coming in for some Ramen Make sure you're hungry

Excellent service

Broth abit thick. Taste quite good. Ordered the pork and chicken broth ramen. Price around 900 yen.

Love it. Perfect for after visiting the shrine. +200 yen for rice and fried chicken!!! Awesome deal for tasty ramen and tsukemen!!
Andrew Song
Price is 750 Yen for the original Tonkotsu ramen. You can get the one with additional chicken for 1000 Yen. Karage as a side is also available. The soup is really thick and strong, people who dislike strong smells and flavors should avoid but it is worth the epitome of Kyoto ramen. There is a ticket machine inside with English controls so it should be a breeze :) Staff do speak to a bear minimum level of English. Store gets really crowded during peak hours, filled with lively tourists from around the world. Would Recommend.

One of my favorite Ramen. Peppery ham, thick soup and thin noodles. Like heaven on earth

Best Ramen in Kyoto!! The noodle, the meat, the egg and the soup are perfectly done. Staffs are friendly. Everything are neat and clean. Definitely a five stars restaurant!

The soy ramen is wonderful here. Incredibly passionate staff and the price is incredible. I'll miss this place.

Great selection of different styles of ramen - tonkutsu, shio, and dry versions. In addition to the ramen, the fried chicken is awesome too! It was that great that I ate it for two straight nights!

The soups & ramen taste better if consumed hot

Lovely staff, great ramen. Perfect if you need a quick bite to eat

Great low key ramen spot very near the Fushimi shrine, but far enough away that you escaped some of the tourist herds. You order via a vending machine and sit and wait until your food is ready and then you are seated. The staff in there, especially the gentleman managing all the guests is extremely lovely. This is definitely stick to your ribs ramen (but what kind of ramen isn’t?!), the broth is definitely thicker and richer. Also, don’t be a chump - order some of the fried chicken and thank me later. It’s a perfect meal either pre or post hiking up to the shrines. Lovely spot!

Very good ramen, superlative fried chicken.

Great ramen

If you are in Fushimi Inari then this is the best place to get a awesome Ramen. Tried two of the four types and it was good. They have a vending machine to choose your Ramen. One thing to note is you cannot just order sides. Pay and it spits out your order. Give order to host. Get a bar seat - way more entertaining. One word - Yum!

Very Tasty ,it is a hidden gem of ramen

Not a bad ramen but the broth is too thick and salty in my personal opinion

Delicious food. The ramen was tasty, altho very rich, and the friend chicken was great too! We came before the lunch time rush, at about 11:15, and were seated right away but noticed a line build up as we we're eating. We enjoyed it and would definitely come again

This is what your bowl will look like when you come here. After a climb to Fushimi Inari Shrine in January, this bowl of pork, chicken and fish broth ramen did the trick! I recommend you chase it with a beer like a true champion.

I came to Hiwamatanaboru after climbing the Mount Inari so we were quite hungry ;). We tried the ramen, the Tori Karaage with rice and it was simply delicious: the best ramen I've had in my entire life. I especially loved the broth in the ramen (I don't know what type or style it was unfortunately), which was very rich, thick and milky !Great place to eat. I do recommend and I'll make sure to come back there next time I go to Kyoto :).

Broth a bit thick to my liking. portion is nice and taste is good. Priced reasonable. Service is good and English speaking staff.

Awesome Food and Great Service!!!

Good place for thick broth ramen. Good for a lunch pitstop before you head to Fushimi- Inari shrine. They have two types of broth chicken and pork broth and the chicken, pork and fish broth. Personally I prefer the fish broth as it gives the broth a more balanced taste compared to the former as it’s overtly meaty. Also try the fried chicken! It’s awesome when dipped in local map sauce! Prices are very reasonable too!

Great food, English menu, family friendly with a high chair. Love it!

No frills place to grab some tasty ramen at good prices. Ordering is done with a machine but there is an English language option and staff are happy to help.
Jeremy Yam
Delicious! The broth was thick and tasty
Andrew Kim
Wasn't bad but could be better. For me the broth was a little too thick for my taste but overall the meat was delicious. I would recommend you get the chicken with the ramen.

Went here during our first day in Japan. It was the best ramen that we have tasted! Be warned that the taste here are quite heavy (salty).
Alexandria Waldron
This is a gem. It is one of those cool restaurants with vending machine-style ordering and very fast food prep. The ramen is seriously delicious and ridiculously cheap. Make it your food stop after/before the Fushimi Inari shrine for cost-effective yum.
Colin Leow
Unique ramen in Kyoto, offering a change in taste compared to other traditional ramen. Portions are huge so don't need for extra noodles or meat if you are an average eater. The soup is unique with a slight hint of herbal scent. Would definitely recommend the place to both locals and tourist.
Martin Kane
Amazingly friendly for our family of six. Found us the only suitable table and helped us ordering our food.
Nadav Cuky
Tasty, big dishes, not expensive, nice waitress, good ramen
Bim Barbieto
Quite possibly my favorite ramen in Japan. The broth is thick and flavorful, the meat is succulent, and the noodles are perfectly firm. There's also a nice selection of other food items.
